We are just people that want to help others. We need people experienced in running nonprofit organizations so we can help as many people as possible.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, we have more legal requirements to navigate
than we have funds to pay for it. We are always looking for volunteers that
have a legal / paralegal background.
As a nonprofit organization, we are required to keep open, transparent books, and file IRS 990 annually. We need volunteers that have accounting
and tax preparation experience.
We hope to continue to add additional homes for men and women, requiring additional funding sources. Volunteers are needed with experience in
Grants and Grant Writing.
We need involvement from our local community to expand our reach, solicit donations, get volunteers, and spread the message of recovery in today's epidemic of drug and alcohol abuse.
Our goal is to have periodic classes on managing personal finances, basic computer skills, job search and interviewing skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
We are always looking for reliable, trustworthy volunteers to help with household problems such as electrical, plumbing, yard maintenance, and general construction and repairs.
